Pureza Celebrates 10th Anniversary: From a Shipping Container to a Global Enterprise

This year, Pureza proudly celebrated its 10th anniversary, marking a decade of perseverance, innovation, and growth in the water purification industry. As one of the largest and youngest water purification product manufacturers in China, Pureza has earned broad recognition in both domestic and international markets through its strong R&D and manufacturing capabilities. The company has become a long-term partner of Walmart and several major offline retailers in North America, and has received multiple industry honors and authoritative certifications.

The anniversary celebration was held on September 20, 2025, bringing together employees, partners, and friends. The day began with visits to the company’s earliest factory sites to retrace its entrepreneurial journey and decade of growth, followed by a dinner where the founder shared the early “container story.”

Ten years ago, four entrepreneurs with vision and determination founded Pureza, carrying the mission of “providing healthy, safe, and pure drinking water for humanity,” and embarked on a journey dedicated to water purification. With no proper place to live or work, they bought a shipping container and turned it into both their home and their first workshop. What started in that simple container has now grown into an enterprise with more than 400 employees and a global footprint.

Since its establishment in 2015, Pureza has remained committed to deep cultivation and innovation in the water purification field. In the same year, its first refrigerator filter cartridge was successfully mass-produced, achieving profitability within just three months and laying a solid foundation for growth. Between 2021 and 2025, Pureza was earned key honors eight times, including “National High-Tech Enterprise” and “Specialized, Refined, Unique, and Innovative SMEs,” further demonstrating its technological and industrial strengths. In 2024, the company launched its water dispenser strategy, expanding the market with a dual-driven approach of OEM and brand development. By 2025, Pureza had established the industry’s first advanced laboratory equipped with ICPMAX, GCMAX, and LCMAX technologies, once again positioning itself at the forefront of the industry.

As we look ahead to the next decade, Pureza remains committed to advancing water purification technology and meeting the evolving needs of families worldwide. While filter cartridges have long been at the heart of our business, our future focus will include developing countertop water dispenser and under-sink water filtration systems, offering customers complete, convenient solutions for safe drinking water. At the same time, we will continue to strengthen our expertise in refrigerator water filters, an area where we have already built strong capabilities and global trust.

This year, Pureza inaugurated a brand-new 1000 square meter laboratory. It is the only NSF authorized laboratory in China capable of testing the removal performance of PFAS, VOCs, heavy metals, and other harmful substances. The facility not only fully complies with NSF certification testing requirements but also has the capability to conduct evaluations in accordance with NSF Standards 42 and 53. The establishment of this laboratory enables Pureza to provide more efficient and timely testing services and technical support for customers both domestically and internationally, marking a significant milestone in the company’s advancement in water purification testing. The laboratory is equipped with state-of-the-art instruments, including Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometer (ICP-MS), Liquid Chromatography Tandem Mass Spectrometer (LC-MS/MS), Gas Chromatograph-Mass Spectrometer (GC-MS), and UV-Visible Spectrophotometer (UV), providing a solid foundation for product safety validation and technological innovation.

The 10th anniversary is not only a time to honor the past but also to look to the future. Our journey from a container to a company of 400+ people proves that resilience and innovation will continue to guide us forward.
